  • Met with Deb and Łukasz on our regular twice-monthly cadence
    • With Łukasz, we discussed in progress updates to speed.python.org, supporting new contributors/triagers in PRs, 3.14 adoption and using feedback to help inform feature development, as well as improvements to release management. On the release management side, more and more has been moved over to GitHub Actions but there are still ongoing conversations around centralizing and streamlining Windows and MacOS releases.
    • With Deb, we discussed budgets and travel grants. The SC has aligned on guidance and will publish communications around this soon.
  • In the general portion of our meeting, we:
    • Discussed the response provided by the authors of PEP 788, and will circle back with next steps shortly.
    • Discussed the response provided by the authors of PEP 743, and have aligned on a follow-up.
