- The Steering Council had office hours with the authors of [PEP 836 (JIT Go Brrr: The Path to a Supported JIT Compiler for CPython)](https://peps.python.org/pep-0836/), discussing the state of the PEP and whether it answered the questions the SC asked in [its request for a PEP](https://discuss.python.org/t/an-announcement-from-the-steering-council-regarding-the-jit-project/107638).
- The SC discussed finances and the state of the Developer-in-Residence program. (Our sponsorships are solid and we have plenty of runway.)
- Agenda for next week:
  - Regular check-in with Petr (Developer-in-Residence)
  - [PEP 836 (JIT Go Brrr: The Path to a Supported JIT Compiler for CPython)](https://peps.python.org/pep-0836/)
  - Two requests to amend PEP 11 ([https://github.com/python/steering-council/issues/360](https://github.com/python/steering-council/issues/360), [https://github.com/python/steering-council/issues/361](https://github.com/python/steering-council/issues/361))
