Python 3.9.0b4 release status?

Hello Pythonistats.

I’d like to get some rough idea about the release date of Python 3.9.0b4. The PEP 596 says the release is scheduled for 2020-06-29. For me, it is confusing to not see it ether released or some kind of update about the plan posted to the mailing lists and/or here.

What is the current plan about beta 4? CCing @ambv.

It was blocked on a late deprecation removal. This is now resolved, I’m building it today.

Sorry about that! I was a bit delayed on merging the removal PR, as I’ve had a decent amount of college work to catch up on this week.
