I can’t install Python.

as you have problems with a “msi” I guess you are working on a Windows PC, right?
Your error description is a little sparse… So, it is hard to guess, what went wrong…
As your current approach (which exactly was it?) seems not to work, you could try an alternative approach and use the Blythooon netinstaller:

Another advantage is, that it creates a Python Runtime Environment comprising a lot more packages useful for Python developers (in particular for scientific usage as well as for GUI application development).
