For me, “prioritise user experience over implementation convenience” is the missing aspect. I don’t know if it’s an explicitly stated goal of the council to do this, but if it isn’t, then it should be (the point of this thread being that not everyone feels that it’s self-evident, so let’s state it explicitly).
