# Abhilash Raj has been granted Triage role on GitHub

Abhilash Raj (@maxking ) is being considered to be promoted to Python core developer.  
I figured while we wait for the decision, he can begin to help us on GitHub as a member of the new Python Triage team. I’ve cleared this with @barry earlier.
