I left a very in-depth report on the other thread Add zero-copy conversion of `bytearray` to `bytes` by providing `__bytes__()` - #70 by cosmicexplorer and it particular links to prototypes I’ve made (intended) for SIMD operations to match bytes for encoding purposes. I’m incredibly excited about the work that’s being done here and I would love to contribute! ^_^!!!
