I have windows 11 and when i try to install python it gets to 99% but then goes down and says “setup failed. one or more issues caused the setup to fail” and it says “user cancelled installation”
Have you got Developer Mode enabled?
How much free hard disk space do you have?
Where are you getting the Python from?

I think the Python devs have put loads of effort in, and it should work in normal mode. Should.
But being limited to the MS Store and not having Admin permissions available is a huge road block Enable your device for development - Windows apps | Microsoft Learn.
If you have the luxury of support from your company’s great IT team, or perhaps even just Professional Edition not Home Edition, it might work out of the box for you. But only running software from the MS Store made Windows 11 enormously frustrating, until I tore down the walled garden.
I tried but it still wont install. Is there anything else i could try?
