One flaw in Discourse that I find _extremely_ frustrating is the lack of a “mark as unread” feature. See [PEP 627: Updating PEP 376; making RECORD optional in installed .dist-info](https://discuss.python.org/t/pep-627-updating-pep-376-making-record-optional-in-installed-dist-info/4126/28) for the latest case where it tripped me up.

Because of this lack, I find Discourse very frustrating for managing threads that _need_ follow-up (as opposed to general discussions where the world won’t end if people are denied the dubious benefit of my insights 🙂)
