Discourse preserves formatting when you copy text from another webpage!

Just wanted to call out a neat feature of Discourse that really gives polish to the user experience.

If you copy text from a web page into a Discourse post, Discourse will preserve the formatting and automatically convert it into Markdown for you! That’s really neat.

For example, in my recent post in the packaging category, I quoted from a blog post. With the exception of the superscripted footnote numbers (which I had to fix up with some tags), Discourse automatically preserved all the formatting and links. All I did was copy and paste directly from the blog post.
