A Gmail outage within the past few days seems to have caused Discourse to stop trying to send me (and presumably anyone else on here with a Gmail or gmail-adjacent address; mine is an @python.org forwarding to Gmail) any messages. It appears that I might have resolved this for myself by switching my email address to a different one and then back to the original (at least the confirmation emails made it through), but this may still be a problem for others.
This meta topic appears to show that admins are able to reset the bounce score of an individual’s email address if someone is affected and doesn’t have another address to switch to, but that may be a laborious process (especially if we don’t have console access; aren’t we hosted?).
It’s also possible that I’m just impatient and Discourse will try again soon without anybody needing to do anything
