Hi guys. A password system I`m trying to make doesn`t work. I don`t know how to stop the module if the wrong password is entered

pay = 0
Password = 1337
userName = ‘’
letPass = int(input(“What is the password?”))
if letPass != Password:
print(“That is not the correct password”)

elif letPass := Password:
userName = str(input(“Welcome to the ATO, what is your name?”))
startSession = str(input(f"Welcome to the ATO {userName}, would you like to start your session?"))
response = startSession.upper()
if response == “NO”:
print(“Have a nice day, bye!”)
elif response == “YES”:

shouldn’t it be elif letPass == Password:? Note the double equal sign ==.

That explains it. PyCharm wanted the “:=”.
