Another Homebrew maintainer here 
I’ve volunteered to be the point-of-contact on Homebrew’s side for this PEP, to reduce the number of independent communication channels. I’ll continue to follow this thread and can offer insight into Homebrew’s current policies/work to make them compatible with this PEP.
