I’m inclined to share the same concern about this sort of incremental improvement getting bundled under a “let’s do it all at once” concept that’s never going to actually happen (unless done, well, as this kind of incremental improvement).
I fully agree with you both, and the plan would be to do it in small pieces, not all at once (exactly because “all at once” will never happen): Restructuring the stdlib docs - #7 by encukou
