Okay I updated the PEP text to make the top level name jstypes and to move the js module to jstypes.global_this.

This PEP makes me realy exited and I would love to see pyodides ffi beeing integrated in cpython.I maintain a similar ffi which is loosely based on pyodides API and I would love to stop maintaining it and just switch to the ffi discussed in this PEP.

This would defragment the python-wasm ecosystem a lot, because atm there is the pyodiode and emscripten-forge world, and they both use some ffi which is already somewhat similar but not 100% the same.

For the curious, you can use emscripten-forge packages through JupyterLite directly from your browser. Create a “XPython”-based notebook (not PyOdide), then type something like %mamba install pandas in a cell and then import pandas.
