As I think many folks know, I’ve been quite involved in these sorts of efforts (starting the effort that became Rust for Linux at the PyCon sprints, migrating pyca/cryptography to Rust, and helping to maintain pyo3). As a result, it will come to no one’s surprise that I’m very supportive of this pre-PEP
