The dictionnary “self-named unpacking” was already discussed here in the past (but not termed that way) : https://discuss.python.org/t/syntax-for-dictionnary-unpacking-to-variables/. I wish to underline that the novelty of the present thread consist in fusing the interest of that proposal with the PEP736 one.
