I think this is unfortunately common.
There was another discussion about a replacement for python-commiters and a reminder on the election opening post.
But ultimately it’s kind of a failing of Helios’ mail setup and lack of clear communication paths for core devs aside from direct outreach.
Seems helios won’t be used in the future as it doesn’t support the recently approved voting method. And hopefully the feedback on a lack of centralized email messaging will be addressed. So maybe things will improve moving forward.
