Hi folks, looking forward to seeing everyone at the Typing Summit this year. A few topics on my mind that I would love to have longer discussions on. What questions would you like to see included in this year’s survey? How do we get more participation from non typing-enthusiasts. - [Improving Ecosystem Types](https://discuss.python.org/t/call-for-suggestions-nominate-python-packages-for-typing-improvements/80186): We’ve made steady progress typing [Pandas](https://engineering.fb.com/2025/05/05/developer-tools/enhancing-the-python-ecosystem-with-type-checking-and-free-threading/) and Numpy. How do we get more community involvement? @yangdanny97 @MarcoGorelli @jorenham - Type Stubs Plan by PyCon 2026: A plan for a plan. At the 2026 Typing Summit, can we have a plan to make the ecosystem of stubs more sustainable for maintainers and consistent for developers? - What is the long term plan for typeshed? - Has sentiment among library authors moved from “I don’t want types” to “I don’t have the energy to add/maintain types”?
