With the run up to the typing summit it’s been a while since we had a Python typing meetup. I’d like to host on Wednesday, July 22nd at 10am PDT (see link for local times + zoom).
We have one topic from Pyrefly - Zeina Migeed and @shobhitmehro will sketch what it took for Pyrefly to special-case support a handful of libraries with mypy plugins with an eye toward understanding what it might take to make progress on reducing the need for special-casing.
We likely have time for another smaller topic, and I’d be happy to schedule more meetups if we have more.
