I have something which works for attribution, see:

So I wrote some mutt config, which I’ll restate here:

reply-hook . 'set attribution="** %d, %n <%a> *****:"'
reply-hook '~h "message-id: *<topic/[1-9]"' 'set attribution="By %n at %d:"'

And it got through in the cited message above.

But my previous post listiung that mutt config got trimmed by discourse!
So out of paranoia I’ve edited the config above to replace the normal
attribute words with “" and "***” above. Sorry.
