I served on the Steering Council for three terms. I have a depth of experience in Science and Data Science, including as a core team member for Jupyter and napari. I believe the core team and triagers represent the different domains well.
The different domains may take advantage of office hours, serve on workgroups, participate in the PSF, and reach out informally to the core team at events.
While I may primarily consider myself a Scientific Python developer, including CPython, I also have a background in industry, electrical engineering, and scientific research.
I’m confident that all of the candidates up for nomination would be highly capable Steering Council members.
