Wiki.python.org down for edits?

I’m trying to log into https://wiki.python.org and any attempt to register or log in gives me

504 Gateway Time-out

The server didn’t respond in time.

Seems find for browsing, perhaps due to a CDN caching it?

I’m taking a look, but do not see an issue currently. I also note that edits have continued at regular pace over the past few days.

This appears to be an issue with invalid Usernames. I’m able to reproduce by attempting to log in with a username that I know does not exist.
