My name is Chris Patti and I’m a life long tinkerer. These days I especially enjoy building things in the cloud using infrastructure as code tools, and most especially with Python!

After a long journey through the UNIX shell, perl and Ruby I met and fell head over heels in love with Python well over a decade ago and have never looked back.

Work stuff aside I’m particularly keen on resurrecting the idea of computers as bicycles for the mind that spark joy and enable us to explore rather than merely engines for generating profit

I currently work at MIT Online Learning on the Platform Engineering team.
