I am in electronics/IT since about 5o years, Startet with developing hardware and software (assembler and some higher level Zilog languages like PLZ) for the Z80 and Z8000.
Later when PC’s came up, I jumped on that, did a lot with Novell Netware, installing, first and second level support and education.
Did some bigger projects in a Database language CONZEPT 16 and PHP, and Website development with TYPO3. Started with SuSE Linux when it came up. Past being retired I startet with microcontrollers Arduino, ESP8266, ESP32, RASPI, did some projects software (C++) and hardware. Did a home automation project based on
CAN Bus, combined with Homeassistant.
Startet with Python some Month ago. Run a Server for some customers Mail and Webhosting, still support some old customer with Novell (now OPEN TEXT) products.
My servers are Debian and SUSE SLES, most are virtualized under PROXMOX, in the past under ESXi
