The Steering Council is back up and running with a scheduling tool for office hours! You can now book office hours with us here.
Our current meeting slot is Thursdays at 14:00 Mountain Time (you can see your local time here), with office hours every other week.

The SC has updated the office hours time slot to better align with daylight savings (or lack thereof) for our members. The existing scheduler link is updated with the new time, which is now 10:30 Mountain Time (you can see your new local time here).
I just had an “office hours” meeting with the Steering Council regarding PEP 661, and it was awesome! Great feedback, deep and insightful discussion, clear takeaways and path forward, and a few good laughs too 
Highly recommended! And hopefully the PEP will be done and accepted soon.
Pro tip: When scheduling a meeting, include the topic and links to background info in the request, to help the SC members come prepared.

To those who are currently considering Office Hours at this point,
As the Steering Council for 2026 has been formed with new members, the regular SC meeting schedule will change, and the Office Hours schedule will be updated accordingly.
Further details will be shared through DPO shortly.

An idea for GitHub - python/steering-council: Communications from the Steering Council is to state which SC it’s for to people can infer when it’s out of date.
