• We synced with the DiR on several current CPython topics, including the increasing volume of unhelpful AI generated pull requests, a farewell message, and whether to adopt a backport patch for pyrepl.
• We synced with Deb on PyCon US planning, including complimentary tickets for core developers, travel grant requests, first time sprint support, and the Developer in Residence hiring consensus.
• We discussed several PEPs, including PEP 800, PEP 806, and PEP 822 and we decided to accept the PEP 800.
