- There were no official SC meetings from May 14, 2026 to May 21, 2026 due to PyCon US. There were several informal meetings during PyCon US, but not an official SC meeting.
- We discussed the selection criteria for participants in the CPython Core Sprint given space constraints, and the SC is coordinating with Brandt on this.
- We discussed criteria for EuroPython travel support for non-core developers, including triagers and PSF staff. We agreed that, in principle, travel support should be limited to core developers, the Security Developer in Residence, and the Developer in Residence, who directly contribute to CPython.
- We reviewed the current status of the JIT project and discussed related topics.
