well, what about readability 
(may be the editor offers a fast typing mode but certainly not the language, I think)
I, without any consideration for the day, am wearing braces. Not for any perceived change in readability, but more so my pants don’t fall down.

I just want to give you 10 hearts just because you used the word “braces” which is what I learned, as I’m an old fart. I did not care for the change to “curly brackets” or “[square brackets]” myself. Those new terms seemed to have started when professors were teaching Javascript.
