Has anyone had any experience running a python script to control a smart bulb?
I can find some info on doing this with a Philips hue, but ideally I would go for less expensive bulbs. I just don’t know how I could tell which bulbs it is possible with and which it isnt?
They’d need to be bayonet fittings.
Anyone done this with a specific bulb model?
Cheers!
I think you’ll have more luck with your questions over at a home automation forum, for example the HomeAssistant forum:
Okay thanks.
It’s not actually for a home setup. It’s for a light installation where I want to trigger 4 bulbs in a network much like controlling LEDs in with an Arduino, but wirelessly.
I thought it’d be better to ask here as it’s for an unconventional purpose.
