I need help to install “python-3.11.5-amd64.exe” on my laptop. After successful download from the site, the file’s icon is blank which appear to be Un installable, and during installation, my winrar says "the file is damaged or unknown format "
What you downloading is the installation program for python.
Run it once and it will install python. Then you can deleye the installed.
However if you are being told it is a bad file then delete it and download it again.
Run it once to i stall python and the delete it.
Now in a terminal window (CMD.EXE for example) type:
py
Now you should have prompt from python >>>.

At last I have been able to install it successfully using a third party website.
