It was supposed to install pip on scripts but there is nothing there. I tried installing it, reinstalling it, repairing and installing it again, manually selecting that i wanted to install pip, and it didn´t work.
Is this on Windows?
Does py -m pip
work?
Yes, it´s on windows, and whenever i try typing py -m pip, the terminal just says “no module named pip”
Where did you get the python kit you installed from?
How did you install the kit, e.g what options did you pick?
i downloaded here Python Release Python 3.13.3 | Python.org and clicked on windows installer (64 bits), and i checked before installing that my pc was, indeed, 64 bits
then i clicked “install now” and it installed, but without the pip file. Later i opened the installer again and clicked “repair”, didn´t work, then i tried “modify” and it didnt install pip aswell. Then i uninstalled it and installed again, bit clicking “customize installation” this time, clicking on “add python.EXE to path” and selecting the “pip” box, and it didn´t install pip.
Then i reinstalled again with customized installation but this time clicking the “use admin privileges” box and still did not work.
You seem to be everything right.
Have you checked your anti-virus software to see if it did anything while you installed python?
Is this a personal or work computer? If work is there software installed to policy what you install?
I installed it again but with the version of microsoft store, and it worked
