Hello. I am retired aerospace engineer. I have done some coding over the years (decades) mostly with C/C+.
My son got a web applications degree a couple of years back and I got some exposure to Python helping him with some of his assignments. I’d help him with the logic, not the actual coding, but I must say the Python assignments were way easier to implement than the Java ones.
So, I needed a programming language to write a simple (crude) propeller analysis tool. I thought about buying C++ or whatever it is now but lo and behold Python is free! Made my decision easy since learning Python is probably no more difficult than trying to relearn C++.
So here I am. Next step is to try and download and install Python on my Windows 11 PC.
