Help requested with implementing strict-map

I’ve created a PR for implementing map(..., strict=True):

But there are some remaining questions, so I’m kind of stuck. Would anyone be willing to assist?

Add a developer in residence to the issue. They are paid to help bring PRs to fruition.

The issue is that I don’t know who can help me. And pinging Raymond or Brandt again isn’t going to change anything.
