Installing python 3.11.2 on Raspberry PI4

I have downloaded the python 3.11.2 from python.org, when I build everything the make file fails to build.
Fatal Python Error: init_fs_enocding : Failed to get the python codec of the file system encoding
No module named ‘encodings’

Then several
make[3]:*** [Makefile:1215 Python/frozen_modules/abc.h] error 1
Leaving Directory '/home/lst2013/Python-3.11.2

Unless its very important to use python 3.11 I suggest you use the python verison that is in your OS that you have on the RPi. I’m guessing you have RPi debian so that will be 3.10 or 3.9.
