Lisp Machine style Listener for Python

Hey y’all :man_raising_hand:

The Symbolics Lisp Machine had something called the Listener.
It was sort of a combination of command shell and Lisp read eval print loop.
But it also featured a “presentation based user interface” where objects in the terminal history can be interacted with.

I’ve been messing around with something like this for Python.

I wonder if the work needed to integrate a library like the geo* one mentioned, or Sympy, could be re-used by Jupyter? If that extra work could be seen as a light extensin to better usability in Jupyter then people might be more likely to work with it??
Or maybe Jupyter might think to adopt some of the features?
