I’m a statistician trying to learn python, so I wrote Sweepystats. As far as I know, python doesn’t have a package to perform statistical sweeps, so here we are!
My goal is to familiarize myself with best python practices, in particular learning how to think in an object oriented way. But since this is a solo project, I will really appreciate any comments/suggestions.
Could we clarify the pinned post to reflect this guidance? It currently says:
Announcements about projects. This is releases for “major” projects (mainly pip releases and PyPI feature deployments), as well as one-off announcements for new projects/tools.
Which could quite easily be understood as permitting one-off announcements for new projects, such as this one. (cf. thesepreviousposts, and whilst I don’t mind seeing posts for interesting new projects, I agree there’s a risk of constant spam if left unchecked–hence the request for clarification)
