I’ve been a user of Python for along time.
I attended PyCon 2007 and later I completed the O’Reilly python certificate courses and got the certificate from the University of Illinois.

I’ve also attended many meetups for Python and Django in Boston over the years.

I recently started a new proof of concept and decided to use Python , at least for the first path. I found that the pip tool to search packages is broken . I am on the forum because I am concerned about that and also to connect with the online Python Community.

Can you expand on the word “broken”? I believe at one point “pip search” was disabled because it represented an easy way to instigate a denial of service attack on the PyPI server(s). Not sure if anything has been changed to fix that problem.
