Hi everyone,
The Steering Council started reviewing PEP 798 today (Unpacking in Comprehensions). Since the discussion thread doesn’t provide a complete picture of how the core team view this proposal, we’d like to gather some additional feedback. We’re particularly interested in your intuitions about the proposed syntax.
Please respond to this quick poll:
How intuitive do you find the syntax [*it for it in its] compared to existing alternatives?
More intuitive - I’d naturally reach for this syntax
About the same - No strong preference
Less intuitive - I find existing patterns clearer
Neutral/No strong opinion

Feel free to add brief context if you’d like, but we’re mainly looking for gut reactions here.
Thanks for your input!
