Problems with installing Pip

Hello all, I am new here.
I am trying to install Pip on Windows 10 but I keep on getting error.
Pyton version 3.12.2 installed
Error:
curl: (35) schannel: next InitializeSecurityContext failed: Unknown error (0x80092012) - The revocation function was unable to check revocation for the certificate.
How can I fix this?

How are you trying to install pip? I.e. exactly what command are you typing into the command shell?

I am typing:
curl https://bootstrap.pypa.io/get-pip.py -o get-pip.py

Ok, generally, curl isn’t the best choice to use on Windows. I would suggest to use the stdlib ensurepip module instead with py -m ensurepip.

Ok, thanks, so what do I replace on that line?

When I try to run:
python -m ensurepip
I get an error:
Python was not found; run without arguments to install from the Microsoft Store, or disable this shortcut from Settings > Manage App Execution Aliases.

The python.org installer has already installed pip.
You should not need to installed it yourself.

Using py -m pip do you see that it is available and working?

Ah, yes I see: [options]

Unless you added it python is not on your PATH.

Using the py command is recommended on Windows.

Ok, so what must I do?
Everything I try to run I get:
Python was not found; run without arguments to install from the Microsoft Store, or disable this shortcut from Settings > Manage App Execution Aliases.

Thank you very much for assistance!

Recommend that you disable the app store python, then install a version from https://www.python.org/
If you want to type python make sure to check the box in the installer to add python to your PATH.
Otherwise use the py command that does not require any changes to your PATH.

Edit: Oh and here are the python Windows docs 4. Using Python on Windows — Python 3.12.2 documentation
