could somebody spare some time reviewing gh-108172: do not override OS preferred browser if it is a super-string of a known browser by guss77 · Pull Request #113011 · python/cpython · GitHub?
I am not the author of this pull request. But I run into the bug this patch is fixing almost daily, with a command line tool I am using always opening the wrong browser when prompting an SSO login.
The change in the pull request only is a one-liner and seems very reasonable to me. Applied locally, it works perfectly fine for me.
