Python Install Manager is in Microsoft Store but shows behind the version specific installers Python 3.12 and Python 3.13 when searching for “Python”. Both versions can be accessed through the manager and this duplication causes confusion.
With the release of Python 3.15 there will be further confusion and cost because the Arm native builds will be installed correctly ONLY by Python Manager. The other installers will deploy emulated versions that are significantly slower on this platform.
Removing these listings has no material impact on the developers experience and can only lead to a clearer, more successful flow.
Please remove them.
