When helping others, I tend to explain a few basic things in more or less the same way, so I have started collecting those here:
This is not meant to replace the official documentation, but rather provide a different approach to explain those. Feedback is very welcome, especially “this existing article at $URL already explains this so much better”.
The last article I have written explains superficially sys.path, virtual environments, and a dash about pip:
, and intends to address some foundational knowledge an acquaintance was struggling with when dealing with a project at work using pipenv- at their workplace they just jump newbies into using their pipenv projects without much explanation of what goes on underneath.
