We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve just released the book “Python para Ciencia y Tecnología”, complete, in Spanish, and totally free!
This book is aimed at those working in research, education, or technological development, and its goal is to bring Python closer to the scientific world.
Throughout its pages, you’ll find a journey that goes from the language basics to real-world applications, showing how Python can be much more than just a programming language, it’s a versatile tool for solving real problems.
Written by Facundo Batista and Manuel Carlevaro, with a foreword by Pablo Galindo Salgado.
Nicely polished. The Spanish is clear enough that I can pretty much read it. (I has been decades since I studied Spanish and random things I have looked at are usually harder.) I picked the Sympy chapter to test since I have never read any sympy doc.
Any plans to create a community based translation effort? I mean, anyone could start one, given it’s CC BY-NC-SA 4.0, but maybe a project blessed by the authors would get more traction.
The free Portuguese version of Fluent Python 2nd edition, licensed as CC BY-NC-ND, had a professional translator, but readers filed issues and PRs to improve it.
