Visual Studio 2022 support for python?

Hi,

I have installed Microsoft Visual Studio Community 2022 17.11.5

My questions are:

  1. Python Version.

My questions are does this support Python Version 3.13. If not what is the highest version of Python it supports?

  1. Installation.

What is the installation order?

After installing Visual Studio 2022. Add the Python support then install python. I assume there is some setting
change in the Visual Studio options as well.

Hello,

you should be able to select the active interpreter in your Settings.

When I downloaded v3.13 from python.org, it was downloaded to this location:

C:\Program Files\Python313

When you select your active interpreter, select this file: python.exe, an executable.
