What's up with the Python Jobs Board?

I find the python jobs board to be small and limited in job postings. One issue I have with it is that I find it’s location based filtering “disorganized” and non-uniform. By this I mean right now there are 2 categories for UK and US:

I can only guess this may be due to there being a “textbox” where people enter the country they want rather than having some limited selection.

To answer your questions:

  • There are fewer jobs being submitted at the moment compared to previous years.
  • The location fields are free form, which is why you sometimes gets multiple entries for the same country or region.
