I am trying to install python package / update python pip, but it seems like nothing is working. I am getting the following exception :

In the bottom-right of the image I see Scripts\\$'C: and I assume the $'C: part is the problem. If you know where that is coming from then you can fix that, otherwise someone that knows more than me needs to help.
