Python 3.13.0a1 was scheduled for next week (Tuesday October 17), partly to include any work done at the Core Dev sprint. However, I’ll be on vacation next week, and the Core Dev sprint is actually a good moment to walk prospective future release managers through the release process, so I’m moving up the release of alpha 1 to this Friday, October 13 (probably starting in the morning, European time). If anyone is at the Core Dev sprint and wants to watch, let me know.
